What Pourfolio is
Pourfolio is software that records bottles a venue stores on behalf of its guests. We provide the record. The venue holds the bottle.
What the venue is responsible for
Physical custody of every bottle, and its condition. Complying with the alcohol licensing and storage rules that apply where they operate. What happens to a bottle after its storage period ends. The accuracy of what their staff enter.
A record in Pourfolio is evidence of what was stored. It is not a guarantee that a bottle exists or is fit to serve.
Guest data
Venues collect guest details and are responsible for doing so lawfully. Pourfolio processes those details on the venue’s behalf. See our privacy policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and back up data regularly, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Venues should be able to operate without us for a period — staff can record bottles by hand and reconcile afterwards.
Ending
A venue may stop using Pourfolio at any time and request an export of their records.
These terms are provisional
Pourfolio is early. These terms will be replaced with a fuller agreement before we take payment from venues, and we will tell you when that happens rather than changing them quietly.
